This evening's walk will be very interesting as it takes in a very scenic part of the Antrim coast just north of Garron Point and we will visit the hidden village of Galboly. This village hasn’t been inhabited for many years but the area and buildings have been used as a film set in the Games of Thrones.

The only parking is at the side of the road near the entrance to the lane leading up to the village so please car share where possible.

Meet at the entrance of this lane for a 7:00 pm start. It is located approximately 4 miles north of Carnlough and a short distance after the Garron Point headland.

Difficulty rating - 8.

There is a short, steep section at the beginning and beyond the village it becomes quite steep again approaching the top of the hill. It can be slippery.
