Sunday School

Sunday School Superintendent - Eleanor Graham

Our children attend the church service until 11:20am when they leave for Sunday School, held in the church hall.  They are collected by their parents immediately after the church service.

Every third Sunday there is a family service in St Bride's when the children stay in church to listen to a children's address.

We have about twenty children in Sunday school at the moment, ranging from three to twelve years old.  We divide the children into three separate classes by age - Beginners, Primaries and Juniors.  The Go Teach - Come Learn books are used to provide age appropriate activities for each group.  The atmosphere is informal and the children are encouraged to voice their opinions during discussion time.

If anyone would like to discuss the content of the programme we follow or about anything relating to the Sunday School please contact Eleanor - 028 9334 0000 or by email - Eleanor Graham

Mark 10:13-16 NIV

13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, β€œLet the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
