World Day of Prayer

The World Day of Prayer (WDP) service is always held on the first Friday of March. Although written by Christian women from around the world, it is a gift to the whole church – men, women and children – and people of all ages and races come together to worship on this special day every year. But the movement carries on its work all year round – with informed prayer, and prayerful action. It supports many different projects and works with many groups. The UK committee is made up of representatives of many denominations and they work as Christians together, to share the good news of Jesus, and show his love.

Venue: Kilbride Presbyterian Church, Moyra Road, Doagh, BT39 0SD

Time: 8:00pm

The Christian women of Palestine have been invited to write the service for 2024 and it will be an opportunity to reflect on continuing challenging times, encouraging Palestinian Christian women to keep searching for a deeper understanding among all the people who share the land, trusting for and hoping in the humanity of one another.

The Theme - I Beg You... Bear With One Another in Love
